GLORY OF THE SUN
By munya junction i sit with my tablet
with my feather ready to kiss the ink
waiting for inspiration from yet to rise sun
i look through the railway to kaduna
excepting to hear a detonation
but peace...silence...sing
i raise my eye to the sky
red and blood sea it read
i scream!
Tears rain from my eyes
my heart panic
run!run! My head speak
blood, tick, red and ticker the sky is
definitely the sun have been murdered
oh i pity the day
the history of light is about to be cut short
darkness would rule
with brutality and hard like the soilder tux.
Witches would walk freely
lion would roam the street
man would sleep till eternity
fear, fear, fear oh the dead sun
as i think alone
i drop my tablet
my ink spill
mourning the dead sun with the end of light
i felt a kiss of ray
the sun soar along with a powerful smile
"i'm not dead friend
i'm sorry to be late
what you see is not blood
but my sleeping shell
i can't deny the world my glory
